Is it Mac-only?
Yes. Nori Flow is built for macOS and the launch version is Mac-only.
Does it work offline or locally?
Speech-to-text runs on your Mac, optional cleanup runs locally, and the core dictation workflow works offline after setup.
What permissions does it need?
It needs microphone access to record audio. If you want auto-paste into other apps, it also needs Accessibility access.
Does it send my voice to the cloud?
No for normal dictation. Your audio stays on your Mac.
How does it adapt to different apps?
With permission, Nori Flow uses the current app and field as a cue so email, chat, docs, and coding surfaces can get different structure when they need it.
What languages does it support?
Nori Flow uses Parakeet v3 for speech-to-text, with support for 25 European languages and automatic language detection. Supported languages are Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Russian, and Ukrainian.
